Get closer to nature
Visit the Al-Ain Zoo for a day and discover animals from the Emirates and further afield. It is home to more than 3700 animal specimens that include 2260 mammals, 865 birds and 520 reptiles. There are a variety of exhibits to tickle young minds including white lions, the Nocturnal House, the Reptile House, the Mixed Asian Exhibit and more. Take off at iFly Dubai
If you’ve ever wanted to fly – or have a youngster that is keen to experience it – head on over to iFly Dubai, an indoor skydiving centre that allows you to experience human body flight! Anyone from 3 -103 years old is able to have a go and no experience is needed. You’ll be up to 3 metres in the air and your heart will be racing!
Splash about Wild Wadi
Located on Jumeirah Beach in front of the stunning Burj Al Arab, Wild Wadi offers 30 rides and attractions for all the family. Themed around the tale of Juha, a character from Arabian folklore, it’s not only a fun place to splash about but also somewhere to engage with local culture. The rides range from thrilling and even scary to lazy and leisurely. There are dedicated children’s areas so the whole family can join in the fun.
Visit Atlantis The Palm
There is so much to do and see at Atlantis The Palm you will need more than a day to do it all. You can spend time in the Aquaventure waterpark enjoying exhilarating rides or take a dip with dolphins at Dolphin Bay. Get your picture taken with a sea lion at Sea Lion Point. Explore the wonders of the underwater world of the Lost Chambers Aquarium where you can even get into the water with sharks! There are educational programmes too which make it more than just a fun day out.
Dine in the desert
